Tasting Notes
In the glass, this wine shows the graceful transparency typical of fine Vosne-Romanée, with a polished ruby tone and delicate brightness. The nose is finely etched and slightly reserved at first, revealing pure Morello cherry, wild strawberry, and a subtle crushed-stone edge that speaks to its mineral core. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and beautifully lithe, opening with vibrant red cherry and crushed strawberry before moving into a sorbet-like freshness. The finish is animated, energetic, and increasingly chalky in texture as it unfolds, suggesting both early charm and the capacity to gain further complexity with time. This is a wine with very good aging potential.

Production
This Vosne-Romanée comes from Burgundy’s Côte de Nuits, where limestone-rich soils and a cool continental climate help Pinot Noir develop finesse, aromatic detail, and mineral drive. The cuvée is sourced from two parcels—two-thirds Les Beaumonts and one-third Echézeaux Loachausses—bringing together depth, elegance, and a subtle grand-cru-like seriousness. Harvesting and vinification are carried out with the aim of preserving freshness, purity, and site expression.

Food & Serving
An excellent match for duck breast, roast quail, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon, or dishes with earthy ingredients such as morels and truffles. Serve slightly cool, around 15–16°C, to highlight its aromatic lift and delicate structure. Decanting is optional in youth, but a short decant may help the wine open if enjoyed soon after release.
