The nose unfolds in layers of ripe cherry, blackberry, and blackcurrant, lifted by violet, forest floor, exotic spice, cedar, and a distinctly mineral core. With age, the bouquet gains further complexity, revealing truffle, leather, and oriental spice notes. The palate is powerful yet finely sculpted, combining dense fruit with silky but assertive tannins and vibrant acidity. Flavours move between dark berries, red cherry, spice, and chalky mineral nuances, leading to a long, layered, and highly persistent finish. This is a wine built for patience, with excellent ageing potential and the capacity to develop extraordinary nuance over time.
