Domaine Chevigny-Rousseau’s Vosne-Romanée Les Champs de Perdrix 2022 offers an elegant expression of one of Burgundy’s most revered villages. Family-owned since 1947, the domaine farms a mosaic of highly prized parcels in and around Vosne-Romanée, including vines on soils neighbouring some of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti’s celebrated holdings.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Pinot Noir is expected to show a vivid ruby colour with delicate garnet tones. The nose is classically Vosne-Romanée: fragrant red berries, wild strawberry and raspberry layered with violet, subtle spice and an earthy, mineral character. On the palate, it combines refined texture with lively freshness, silky tannins and a lingering finish marked by red fruit and gentle savoury notes. The 2022 vintage’s generosity gives the wine approachability in its youth, while its structure and balance should allow it to develop added complexity over the next several years. It can be enjoyed now with a little air, or cellared for greater aromatic depth and softness.

Food & Serving
Serve at approximately 15–16°C to preserve the wine’s freshness and perfume. It is a natural partner for roast chicken, duck, veal, pork tenderloin and delicate game, as well as mushroom dishes, earthy risottos and Burgundian classics. Decanting is not essential for this relatively young vintage, but 30–60 minutes in a decanter can help open the aromatics before serving.
