Domaine Besson is a family-owned estate in Givry, Burgundy, founded in 1938. Guillemette and Xavier Besson have been making wine since 1989, joined by their son Henri-Vital in 2017. The estate produces Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée wines from Burgundy’s two principal noble varieties, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, across 10 hectares of vineyards. Its historic character is reinforced by two monuments listed as historic landmarks, including an 18th-century building shown on the estate’s labels, as well as a distinctive 17th-century cellar with vaulted ceilings.
