Tasting Notes

Production
This Grand Cru comes from the heart of Vosne-Romanée in the Côte de Nuits, where the Richebourg vineyard is known for producing wines of exceptional richness and longevity. The vines are rooted in limestone gravel soils with some clay and a thin topsoil layer, a terroir that helps shape the wine’s intense texture and precise aromatic definition. The grapes are vinified with care to preserve the nuance and complexity of the site, and the wine is best opened with about an hour of decanting to allow its full structure and perfume to emerge.

Food & Serving
Ideal with refined dishes such as roasted duck, venison, beef filet, truffle risotto, or mushroom-based cuisine. Serve at 16–18°C, and decant for around one hour before serving to let the wine open fully and show its depth and balance.
