Description

Dom Pérignon Rosé 2000 Magnum is a rare, statement-making Champagne that brings together power, finesse, and unmistakable prestige in one bottle. Crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and released only after years of patient cellar ageing, it reflects Dom Pérignon’s long tradition of pushing Rosé Champagne toward greater depth and expression.

Tasting Notes
The wine shows a refined, mature pink-gold hue with a fine, persistent mousse. On the nose, it is beautifully layered, offering ripe raspberry and wild strawberry, lifted by delicate floral tones of iris and violet. On the palate, it is rich, silky, and impressively vibrant, with generous fruit, a juicy texture, and a striking mineral line that adds precision. The finish is more linear and structured, with hints of green flowers. Thanks to its balance and complexity, it has excellent ageing potential and can continue developing gracefully for years.

Production
Dom Pérignon Rosé is born from the ambition to capture Pinot Noir in its purest and most vital form. The grapes come from Champagne’s finest sites, where cool chalky terroir contributes to the wine’s tension, elegance, and mineral character. After careful harvest and precise vinification, the wine spends around nine years in the cellar before release, allowing it to build depth, complexity, and its signature silky texture.

Food & Serving
This Rosé Champagne pairs beautifully with dishes that can match its intensity, such as lobster, roasted duck, salmon, tuna, or refined Japanese cuisine. It also works very well with berry-based desserts or hard aged cheeses. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended.

Producer
Champagne Moët & Chandon is one of the most famous houses in Champagne and the producer behind Dom Pérignon, a prestige cuvée named after the legendary Benedictine monk often associated with early Champagne development. The house has played a major role in shaping Champagne’s global reputation and is widely recognised for its innovation, consistency, and landmark prestige wines.
