Description

Dom Pérignon Lenny Kravitz 2008 is a striking limited-edition release that pairs one of Champagne’s most iconic vintage cuvées with Lenny Kravitz’s distinctive visual design. Built on the elegance and precision of Dom Pérignon’s 2008 vintage, it brings together luxury, artistry, and a highly regarded year in Champagne history.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a refined golden hue with a persistent, fine mousse. The nose opens with bright citrus, green apple, pear, and white flowers, before revealing deeper notes of toasted brioche, almond, and a subtle mineral edge. The palate is vibrant and layered, combining freshness and tension with creamy texture and impressive depth. Chardonnay brings lift and elegance, while Pinot Noir adds structure and volume, leading to a long, precise finish. This is a Champagne with excellent aging potential and can continue to evolve gracefully for 15–20 years.

Production
Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced in Champagne, this 2008 vintage reflects a cool, demanding growing season that delivered exceptional acidity, structure, and complexity. The grapes are harvested by hand, as is standard for top Champagne production, and the wine is vinified with the aim of preserving purity, finesse, and balance. It was then matured on lees in bottle for at least nine years, allowing the wine to gain richness, complexity, and its signature Dom Pérignon harmony.

Food & Serving
An excellent aperitif, this Champagne also pairs beautifully with oysters, scallops, lobster, fine white fish, and delicate poultry dishes. Serve chilled at 8–10°C, and decanting is not recommended; instead, open shortly before serving to preserve its energy, mousse, and aromatic precision.

Producer
Dom Pérignon is the prestige cuvée of Champagne Moët & Chandon, one of the most famous houses in the region with a long history of producing benchmark sparkling wines. Named after the legendary Benedictine monk often associated with the development of Champagne, the label has become synonymous with vintage-only releases, craftsmanship, and consistency at the highest level. The brand is recognized worldwide as one of Champagne’s most prestigious names, regularly celebrated for both quality and cultural impact.
