Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a garnet-red colour with the characteristic brightness of Nebbiolo. The nose is layered and refined, with notes of red cherry, rose petal, dried herbs, liquorice, spice, and earthy undertones, gaining complexity with time in bottle. On the palate, it is structured and nuanced, with firm but polished tannins, fresh acidity, and flavours that echo the aromatics while adding savoury depth, mineral tension, and a long, persistent finish. This is a Barolo with excellent ageing potential, likely to develop beautifully over many years as its tannins soften and tertiary notes emerge.

Production
Brunate is one of the most prestigious vineyard sites in Barolo, known for its well-exposed slopes and soils that help produce wines with both power and finesse. For this cuvée, the Nebbiolo is carefully harvested and vinified to preserve the purity of the fruit and the distinctive personality of the cru, with ageing carried out to build structure, complexity, and balance.

Food & Serving
This Barolo pairs beautifully with rich dishes such as braised beef, osso buco, game, truffle-based pasta, and mature hard cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for at least 1–2 hours when young to allow the aromas and tannins to open fully.
