Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep ruby-purple color, hinting at its youthful concentration. The nose leans toward black cherry, blackberry, violet and cracked black pepper, with a savory, slightly smoky Rhône character that adds complexity. On the palate, expect a medium-bodied wine with juicy red and dark berry fruit, lively freshness and fine, supple tannins. Syrah’s classic spice and mineral edge carry the finish, giving the wine a polished, food-friendly profile. While already approachable in its youth, it should also develop additional savory depth over the next few years.

Made from Syrah grown in Crozes-Hermitage in the northern Rhône, where the cooler continental climate and varied alluvial, clay and granite-influenced soils help preserve freshness and aromatic lift. The 2023 vintage reflects careful vineyard work and a vinification approach aimed at preserving fruit purity, spice and the natural structure of the grape.

This Syrah is an excellent match for roasted lamb, grilled sausages, duck, beef tenderloin, mushroom dishes and hearty vegetable gratins. Serve it slightly cool, around 16–18°C, and consider a brief decant if opening young to help the aromatics open up.
