Production
Côte-Rôtie’s steep, south-facing terraces in the northern Rhône are shaped by schist and granite soils, which help give the wine its aromatic lift and mineral backbone. Domaine Billon works with fruit from Côte Rozier, a site known for producing structured, expressive Syrah, with careful harvesting to preserve freshness and precise vinification designed to highlight vineyard character and balance.

This wine pairs beautifully with roast lamb, duck breast, venison, beef tenderloin, or slow-cooked game dishes, as well as roasted mushrooms and aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromas and structure to open fully.
