Costers del Siurana Miserere 2000 is a superb Priorat red that reflects one of Spain’s most admired wine regions. Crafted from Garnacha, Cariñena, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo, and aged for 18 months in French oak, it combines power, finesse, and the deep mineral character that has made Priorat a benchmark for serious Spanish reds.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby-red color with impressive depth. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of black fruits, warming spices, and subtle toasted oak notes that add complexity without overpowering the fruit. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, velvety, and beautifully balanced, with ripe dark fruit, savory spice, and a smooth oak frame. The finish is long and persistent, making it a wine with excellent depth and drinking pleasure. With its structure and balance, it still has aging potential and can continue to evolve gracefully.

Production
Produced in Priorat, a region known for its steep slopes, poor slate soils, and low-yield vineyards, Miserere 2000 draws its intensity and concentration from a demanding terroir. The blend brings together traditional Mediterranean varieties and international grapes, and the wine is matured for 18 months in French oak barrels to build texture, complexity, and polish.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs especially well with game dishes, roasted lamb, and mature cheeses. Serve it at around 16–18°C to show its full aromatic range and structure, and decanting is recommended if the bottle has been stored for a long time, to help the wine open up and reveal its layers.
