Built from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, it balances freshness, generosity, and structure in a style that feels both polished and inviting.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in the glass, with a vibrant, youthful sheen. The nose leans toward ripe blackcurrant, red cherry, and cassis, lifted by hints of citrus peel, black tea, and subtle spice. There is a charming, almost homemade fruit quality to the bouquet, echoing blackcurrant syrup, fresh red cherries, and bright citrus marmalade. On the palate, the wine is supple and lively, with juicy red and black fruit framed by fine tannins and a clean, energizing finish. It feels comforting yet vivid, with enough depth to satisfy now and the structure to develop gracefully over the next 7 to 12 years, gaining more nuance and complexity with age.

Pagodes de Cos comes from the gravelly, clay-limestone soils of Saint-Estèphe, where the proximity to the Gironde helps moderate the climate and preserve freshness in the grapes. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot is harvested parcel by parcel and vinified with precision to highlight fruit purity, balance, and elegance rather than overt power.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent choice for relaxed meals and spontaneous gatherings, especially with roast chicken, duck, grilled lamb, beef tenderloin, mushroom dishes, or a charcuterie board with aged cheeses. Serve at around 16-18°C, and decant for 30-60 minutes if drinking young to allow the wine to खुल fully and soften its tannins.
