Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red color with inviting clarity. The nose opens with ripe dark berries, subtle spice, and fine savory notes, supported by hints of herbs, cedar, and a touch of earthy complexity. On the palate, it is elegantly structured and silky, with well-integrated tannins and a long, velvety finish. The blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and a small portion of Teroldego gives the wine both richness and freshness, while its balance and finesse suggest excellent aging potential.

Production
Fojaneghe comes from the estate vineyard of the same name in Trentino Alto Adige, where the wines benefit from a cool Alpine-influenced climate and well-suited soils that help preserve freshness and aromatic precision. The grapes are harvested with care and vinified to highlight the harmony and structure of the blend, combining Merlot and Cabernet Franc with a small percentage of local Teroldego for added regional identity.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with roasted red meats, game, lamb, braised dishes, and mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C; decanting for about 1 hour is recommended, especially if enjoyed young, to allow the wine to fully open and reveal its layered aromas.
