Production
The Merlot for Siebeneich comes from Colterenzio’s vineyards in South Tyrol, where the Alpine climate, warm days, and cool nights help preserve freshness while encouraging full ripeness. The wine is made from 100% Merlot and matured for a minimum of 18 months in French oak barrels, which adds finesse, spice, and texture to the finished wine.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for hearty dishes such as beef, lamb, game, and other richly flavoured meat preparations. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting, especially if the bottle has been stored for a long time, to help the wine open up and show its full aromatic range.
