Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass with bright green highlights, it opens with lifted aromas of lime, grapefruit, passion fruit, and fresh-cut herbs, layered with subtle floral notes and a touch of minerality. The palate is crisp and lively, with concentrated citrus and tropical fruit flavours balanced by zesty acidity and a clean, mouthwatering finish. Best enjoyed young for its freshness and energy, though it can develop additional complexity over the next few years.

Production
Sourced from selected vineyard parcels across Marlborough, where a cool maritime climate, long sunshine hours, and free-draining soils help preserve aromatic purity and natural acidity. The fruit is typically harvested at optimal ripeness to capture freshness, then gently pressed and fermented under controlled temperatures to retain the wine’s expressive fruit character and vibrancy.

Food & Serving
Best served well chilled, around 8–10°C, Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc pairs beautifully with oysters, fresh shellfish, goat’s cheese, sushi, grilled white fish, and salads with herbs or citrus dressing. Decanting is not necessary; simply open and enjoy while the wine is fresh and aromatic.
