Tasting Notes
Expect a deep, inky color and remarkable aromatic depth. The nose typically opens with dark berries, garrigue herbs, spice, and a subtle mineral edge, while the palate is full-bodied and layered, combining ripe black fruit, savory Mediterranean notes, firm structure, and impressive length. This is a wine built for the cellar. While already expressive in youth, it can develop beautifully over many years, gaining complexity, polish, and secondary notes of leather, tobacco, and dried herbs.

Production
La Petite Sibérie comes from a very small, windswept vineyard site in Roussillon, where poor soils, intense sun, and dramatic temperature shifts naturally limit yields and concentrate flavor. The fruit is typically hand-harvested to preserve quality and sorted carefully before vinification, with production focused on extracting depth, structure, and purity while respecting the character of the terroir.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with richly flavored dishes such as grilled lamb, game, slow-braised beef, duck, or roasted vegetables with herbs de Provence. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for at least an hour to allow the wine to open and soften.
