Cignomoro’s 30 Vecchie Vigne Old Vines Bianco di Alessano 2021 is a distinctive Puglian white that reflects a very deliberate choice of place, vine, and style. Made from old vines in the red soils between Manduria and Carosino, it combines modern winemaking with the character and warmth of southern Italy, resulting in a wine with personality and depth.

Production
Cignomoro works from the red earth of Puglia, between Manduria and Carosino, where sun, wind, and proximity to the sea help shape wines with intensity and individuality. The old vines provide concentration and character, and after a soft pressing, the must is fermented in barriques before resting on the lees in those same barrels for four months, adding texture and a refined aromatic layer.

This wine pairs beautifully with refined seafood dishes, grilled fish, shellfish, creamy pasta, and poultry with herbs or light sauces. Serve it slightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and consider a short decant only if you want to open up its barrel-influenced aromas more quickly.
