Tasting Notes
The wine displays a brilliant, deeply coloured appearance. Its sophisticated bouquet opens with notes of raspberry jam and blackcurrant, complemented by iris, menthol and subtle smoky nuances. On the palate, a creamy yet surprisingly fresh entry leads into a compact, richly flavoured texture. The finish is powerful, smooth and persistent, with well-integrated new oak adding depth and structure. Although approachable with decanting, the 2023 vintage has the concentration and balance to evolve beautifully in bottle. Its fruit, freshness and firm structure suggest excellent ageing potential over the coming years.

Produced in Saint-Émilion, the wine reflects the appellation’s ability to combine richness with freshness and aromatic detail. The fruit is handled with a focus on precision and texture, followed by maturation in 100% new oak. This extensive oak ageing contributes smoky complexity, polish and structure while complementing the wine’s intense dark-fruit character.

Food & Serving
Serve at approximately 16–18°C with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, venison or richly flavoured mushroom dishes. It also pairs well with mature hard cheeses. Decant for around one to two hours before serving when enjoyed young, allowing its layered bouquet and supple texture to emerge more fully.
