The nose is intensely expressive, with candied fruit, honey, apricot, peach, flowers, and subtle layers of vanilla and spice from oak aging. The palate is full, creamy, and richly textured, yet kept vibrant by a fresh, lively acidity that gives the wine definition and lift. The finish is long and harmonious, leaving lingering notes of ripe fruit and honey. While enjoyable now for its freshness and precision, it also has excellent aging potential, with the ability to develop greater depth and complexity over time.

Production
Château Suduiraut sources its fruit from the Sauternes appellation in Bordeaux, where morning mists and warm afternoons create the ideal conditions for noble rot, or Botrytis cinerea, to form on the grapes. This natural process concentrates sugars, aromas, and flavors, producing the signature richness of the wine. The harvest is carried out selectively by hand in multiple passes to pick only the perfectly affected berries, followed by careful vinification and aging in oak to build texture and complexity.

Food & Serving
This wine is a superb match for fruit-based desserts, crème brûlée, foie gras, and blue cheeses, where its sweetness and acidity complement both rich and salty flavors. Serve chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, to preserve its freshness and aromatic detail. Decanting is generally not necessary, though it can be helpful for older bottles or if you want the wine to open up more quickly.
