Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, luminous golden color that hints at its richness. The nose is layered and expressive, with aromas of honey, toasted almonds, ripe pineapple, and a subtle floral lift. The palate is beautifully opulent yet controlled, unfolding with mango, papaya, and mandarin wrapped in a creamy, silky texture. A precise line of acidity keeps the wine elegant and lively, while the finish is long, intense, and persistent, marked by honeyed stone fruit and tropical notes. It has excellent aging potential and will continue to develop even more complexity over time.

Production
Château Rieussec is located in Sauternes, where the maritime climate and morning fogs encourage noble rot to develop on the grapes. The blend is led by Sémillon, supported by Sauvignon Blanc and Moscadelle, harvested selectively in multiple passes to pick only the perfectly concentrated berries. Vinification is carried out with care to preserve purity, texture, and the aromatic complexity that defines the estate’s style.

Food & Serving
This wine is ideal with delicate desserts such as fruit tart, crème brûlée, or almond-based pastries, but it also shines with blue cheese or foie gras. Serve slightly chilled, around 8–10°C, and decanting is generally not necessary unless the wine is particularly young and you want to open it up a little before serving.
