On the palate, it is usually graceful yet concentrated, with fine-grained tannins, vibrant freshness, and a long, elegant finish. Château Rauzan-Ségla is located in the heart of Margaux, where gravel-rich soils provide outstanding drainage and help produce wines of aromatic lift, structure, and finesse. The estate’s vineyards benefit from the classic Left Bank terroir, with Cabernet Sauvignon typically playing the lead role alongside Merlot and smaller proportions of complementary Bordeaux varieties. Careful vineyard management and selective harvesting are followed by traditional vinification, with fermentation and ageing in French oak to preserve purity while adding complexity and texture.
