Tasting Notes
This is a deep, inky red in the glass, with classic Pauillac intensity and polish. Aromas typically unfold with blackcurrant, blackberry, violet, licorice, and a graphite-like, pencil shaving character, layered over subtle oak spice and a refined floral lift. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and beautifully structured, with ripe dark fruit, finely tuned tannins, and a seamless, satin-textured mid-palate. The finish is long and composed, suggesting excellent aging potential; while already impressive, it should gain further complexity over the next 15–25 years and beyond under ideal cellar conditions.

Production
Produced in Pauillac on Bordeaux’s Left Bank, the estate’s gravel-rich soils are particularly well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon, which forms the backbone of the blend alongside Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The vineyard benefits from excellent drainage and the moderating influence of the Gironde, helping grapes achieve full ripeness while retaining freshness and balance. Harvesting is typically done parcel by parcel to capture each plot at optimal maturity, followed by careful vinification to preserve fruit purity and tannic finesse. The wine is then matured in French oak barrels, with a substantial proportion of new oak, allowing the blend to gain structure, complexity, and polish without overshadowing its natural character.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with classic Bordeaux fare such as roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, or game birds, as well as mushroom-based dishes and aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C and, if drinking young, consider decanting for 1–3 hours to allow the wine to open fully and soften its tannins.
