Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-purple in appearance, the 2023 vintage opens with aromas of ripe black plum, blackberry and cherry, layered with violet, graphite, liquorice and subtle spice. The palate is concentrated yet energetic, with polished tannins, bright acidity and a distinctive mineral edge that brings balance to the fruit. A fresh, structured Saint-Émilion with a long, savoury finish, it is approachable with decanting but has the depth to mature beautifully. Expect the fruit and floral notes to integrate further over the next several years, with a drinking window extending well into the 2030s under good cellaring conditions.

Production
The vineyards lie on the elevated limestone plateau and clay-limestone slopes of Saint-Émilion, where well-drained soils and natural water retention help preserve freshness in the grapes. Fruit is harvested by hand and carefully sorted before fermentation, allowing the estate to select only the healthiest, most expressive berries. The wine is matured in French oak, combining new and seasoned barrels to support the fruit and mineral character without overwhelming it.

Food & Serving
Serve at 16–18°C after allowing the bottle to come up gradually from cellar temperature. A decant of approximately 1–2 hours is recommended when drinking young. Its supple richness and structured finish make it an excellent match for roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck, venison, mushroom dishes and mature hard cheeses.
