Chateau Musar Red is one of Lebanon’s most iconic wines, admired for its depth, finesse, and unmistakable sense of place. Crafted in the Bekaa Valley from a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Carignan, it reflects both the heritage of the winery and the character of one of the region’s most historic vineyards.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red color with impressive concentration. The nose opens with layers of red berries, warm spice, and cedar, unfolding into more subtle notes of vanilla and dark chocolate with time in the glass. The palate is full-bodied and beautifully balanced, with ripe tannins, lively acidity, and a supple, elegant texture. The finish is long and fruit-driven, leaving lingering hints of spice and oak. This is a wine with excellent aging potential and can develop even greater complexity over the next 15–20 years.

Production
The grapes come from limestone-rich soils in the Bekaa Valley, a terroir known for its warm days, cool nights, and ideal conditions for slow, even ripening. Harvesting is done with care to preserve freshness and quality, followed by traditional vinification that emphasizes balance, structure, and aromatic depth.

Chateau Musar Red pairs wonderfully with grilled meats, game dishes, and mature cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting in advance to allow the wine’s layered aromas and flavors to fully open.
