Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan, it combines depth, finesse and remarkable character, with decades of bottle age adding extra nuance and complexity.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows an intense ruby color that still carries impressive vitality for its age. The bouquet is layered and evolving, with aromas of black fruits, spice, leather and tobacco, unfolding gradually as the wine opens up. On the palate, it is full-bodied and supple, with well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish. Mature yet still expressive, it has the kind of structure and complexity that can continue to hold interest for years, though it is already in a beautiful drinking window now.

Production
Chateau Musar is made in the Bekaa Valley, Lebanon’s most important wine region, where high-altitude vineyards and a Mediterranean climate help preserve freshness and balance. The wine is produced from a traditional blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and Carignan, with the grapes carefully handled and then aged for a minimum of 30 months in French oak barrels to build texture and complexity.

Food & Serving
This vintage is a natural match for rich dishes such as game, roast beef and lamb, as well as mature cheeses that can stand up to its depth and spice. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant before drinking to allow the wine’s aromas to open fully and the older vintage to show at its best.
