Tasting Notes
The 2023 vintage displays the refined character associated with Château Margaux: a deep, vibrant colour accompanied by layered aromas of dark berries, cassis, violets and subtle spice. On the palate, it is poised and finely textured, balancing concentrated fruit with fresh acidity, polished tannins and a long, persistent finish. Although approachable with careful decanting, this is a wine with considerable ageing potential. Properly stored, it should develop greater aromatic complexity and savoury depth over many years, rewarding cellaring well into the future.

Production
The estate’s vineyards extend across approximately 265 hectares, with around one third planted to vines. The terroir is characterised by the gravel and clay soils typical of Margaux, which provide excellent drainage while helping the vines retain freshness and structure. Grapes are carefully selected and harvested at optimum ripeness, before being vinified with a combination of traditional Bordeaux methods and modern precision to preserve the individuality of each parcel and achieve a balanced, age-worthy final wine.

Food & Serving
Serve at approximately 16–18°C with richly flavoured dishes such as roast beef, lamb, venison, duck or beef tenderloin. It also pairs beautifully with refined preparations featuring mushrooms, truffles or hard, mature cheeses. Decant for around two hours when drinking young to open the aromas and soften the tannins; older bottles should be decanted gently and briefly, if at all, to avoid losing their delicate bouquet.
