Blanc de Lynch-Bages 2019 is a refined dry white Bordeaux from the team behind the legendary Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac. Made from Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle selected from parcels better suited to white wine, it brings together freshness, texture, and the elegant signature that has made the estate a benchmark in the region.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a clear, bright pale-golden color. The nose is expressive and precise, offering citrus fruit, green apple, white flowers, and subtle herbal nuances, with a gentle touch of oak adding polish rather than weight. The palate is fresh and balanced, with lively acidity from Sauvignon Blanc, roundness and structure from Sémillon, and aromatic lift from Muscadelle. There is a pleasing mineral edge and a clean, persistent finish. It can be enjoyed young for its vibrancy, but it also has enough depth to gain complexity over the next few years.

Production
The grapes come from carefully selected parcels outside the Pauillac appellation, where the soils are more favorable for white wine production. The blend is based on Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle, and part of the wine is fermented and matured in oak barrels to add texture and a discreet spiced note without masking the fruit. The result is a white Bordeaux shaped by both freshness and careful élevage.

Food & Serving
Serve chilled, ideally at 8-10°C, with seafood, shellfish, grilled or poached fish, light poultry dishes, or as an aperitif. Decanting is generally not necessary, though a brief aeration can help if opened young. Its balance of freshness and subtle oak also makes it a strong match for dishes with creamy sauces or delicate herbs.
