Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, polished colour typical of classically made Bordeaux. The bouquet opens with sweet berries, blackcurrant, liquorice, and delicate floral notes, giving it both freshness and definition. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with lively acidity, supple, sweet tannins, and a firm, persistent finish. The blend brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot in a style that balances ripeness, structure, and finesse. While already appealing now, it has the depth to develop beautifully over time.

Le Pauillac de Château Latour is produced in Pauillac, where gravelly soils and a maritime climate help Cabernet-driven wines achieve remarkable structure and aromatic complexity. The wine is assembled from younger vines, selected parcels that are not ideal for the grand vin, and declassified fruit, ensuring a consistent estate character while making the wine more accessible in its youth. Vinification follows the estate’s exacting standards, with careful selection and traditional Bordeaux élevage to preserve purity, balance, and terroir expression.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with roast lamb, beef fillet, duck breast, game birds, and mushroom-based dishes. It also works well with aged hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for 30–60 minutes if opening young, especially to allow the aromas and tannins to open fully.
