Production
The vineyards of Château La Nerthe are set in a magical landscape of vines, ancient olive trees, and truffle oaks, where the famous rolled pebbles of Châteauneuf-du-Pape help store heat and shape the ripening of the grapes. The old vines are traditionally trained in bush form, and the estate works organically, reflecting a strong commitment to the purity of the land. The family’s roots date back to the 1930s, and since acquiring the first estate in the southern Rhône in 1950, they have built a respected presence across several major French wine regions. Today, the estate is fully organically certified and stands as one of the appellation’s most admired producers.
