Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in colour, the wine opens with aromas of black cherry, ripe plum and blackberry, complemented by violet, subtle spice and delicate toasted nuances. On the palate, it is full-bodied and polished, with generous fruit, fresh acidity and well-integrated tannins. A lingering finish reveals hints of dark chocolate, liquorice and earthy minerality. The 2018 vintage offers appealing richness in its youth, while its structure gives it the capacity to develop further in bottle. It should drink beautifully now with decanting and can continue to mature for several more years under suitable cellaring conditions.

Production
The estate’s vineyards benefit from the varied limestone and clay soils typical of Saint-Émilion, which help provide both depth and freshness. The wine is produced from the estate’s traditional Bordeaux varieties, led by Merlot and complemented by Cabernet Franc and other permitted grapes, with careful harvesting and selection followed by controlled fermentation and maturation in oak. Food & Serving
Serve at approximately 16–18°C. Decant for 30–60 minutes to soften the tannins and allow the aromas to unfold, particularly when opening the wine in its youth. Its ripe fruit and structured palate make it an excellent partner for roast lamb, beef fillet, duck, venison, mushrooms and mature hard cheeses.
