The estate sits in the Chinon appellation of the Loire Valley, where the site’s long history and mature vineyards underpin its reputation for quality. Since the Gosset family’s purchase in 1951, continuous work has been carried out to improve the vineyards and winery, and since 2009 Christophe Baudry and Jean-Martin Dutour have further refined the estate with a strong focus on preserving the terroir, tradition, and identity of Château de la Grille.
