Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-red in appearance, with developing garnet nuances. The nose opens with ripe blackberries, black cherries and plums, complemented by violet, cedar, graphite and subtle notes of spice and well-integrated oak. On the palate, the wine is medium- to full-bodied, combining supple Merlot richness with fresh acidity and finely textured tannins. Dark fruit flavours are joined by hints of cocoa, liquorice and savoury minerals, leading to a long, polished finish. Already enjoyable with decanting, it should continue to develop additional complexity through approximately 2032–2038, depending on storage conditions.

Production
The estate’s vineyards are situated on the varied clay and limestone soils characteristic of Saint-Émilion, which help provide both generosity and mineral freshness. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted before parcel-by-parcel vinification, allowing each plot and variety to be handled with precision. Fermentation and maturation in a combination of vessels, including oak, help preserve the wine’s fruit expression while adding structure and complexity.

Food & Serving
Serve at 16–18°C after decanting for around 1–2 hours, particularly if opened now. Its polished tannins and generous fruit make it an excellent match for roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck, venison and hearty mushroom dishes, as well as mature hard cheeses.
