Description

Champagne Siret Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut 2015 is a refined vintage Champagne shaped by the character of Chardonnay and the contrasting terroirs of the Côte des Blancs and Côte des Bar. Made by the family-owned Champagne Siret Frère et Sœur, it combines a creamy, generous texture with pronounced chalky minerality and an exceptionally long cellar maturation of at least 108 months.

Tasting Notes
Pale golden in appearance, with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose opens with aromas of ripe fruit, toasted hazelnut and delicate pastry, reflecting the wine’s extended time on the lees. On the palate, it is full-bodied and creamy, balancing developed fruit flavours with fresh chalky mineral notes. The finish is long, gastronomic and layered, with hints of freshly baked bread and brioche. Its structure and extended maturation give it excellent potential for further development in bottle.

Production
This Blanc de Blancs brings together fruit from two distinctive Champagne terroirs: the chalk-rich Côte des Blancs and the Côte des Bar. The grapes are harvested carefully by hand, with the estate’s production guided by respect for biodiversity and the natural rhythms of the vineyard. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts, followed by full malolactic fermentation. The wine is matured in the cellar for at least 108 months, without fining or filtration, and finished with a low dosage to preserve its natural character, depth and mineral precision.

Food & Serving
A serious, gastronomic Champagne that pairs beautifully with oysters, scallops, shellfish and grilled white fish. Its creamy texture and pastry notes also complement roast poultry, veal, creamy risottos and mature soft cheeses. Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C in a tulip-shaped Champagne glass to allow its aromas to unfold. Decanting is generally unnecessary, although a brief rest in the glass can help reveal its depth and savoury complexity.

Producer
Champagne Siret Frère et Sœur is a family-owned, artisanal producer whose wines express the meeting of the Côte des Blancs and Côte des Bar. The house takes a careful, low-intervention approach, placing biodiversity, natural fermentation and respect for the vineyard at the centre of its work. Extended cellar ageing, low dosage and the decision to bottle without fining or filtration reflect the family’s commitment to producing distinctive Champagne with depth, harmony and a strong sense of place.
