Champagne Gosset Cuvée Suzanne Gosset Rosé is an elegant non-vintage Champagne presented in a gift box, created in tribute to Suzanne Gosset, who led the house as president from 1955 to 1965. Its refined rosé character, extended lees ageing and naturally vibrant freshness showcase the signature style of one of Champagne’s oldest wine houses.

Tasting Notes
The wine displays a beautiful copper-tinged hue, reflecting its long maturation in the cellar. The nose is delicate and expressive, with aromas of red stone fruit, pink grapefruit and white peach. On the palate, it is fresh and pure, combining a supple texture with a pleasing balance between lively tension and ripe fruit. The finish is refreshing, marked by citrus notes and a subtle mineral character. As a non-vintage rosé Champagne, it is ready to enjoy now, though careful cellaring for several years may allow additional complexity to develop.

Production
Gosset selects grapes from highly rated Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in the Marne, with an average classification of approximately 95% on the official échelle des crus. The wines are produced without malolactic fermentation in order to preserve their natural acidity, freshness and fruit-driven aromas. The base wines mature for nine months on their first fermentation lees before blending and bottling, followed by a second fermentation in bottle and at least 60 months of lees ageing. After disgorgement, the Champagne rests for a further minimum of 12 months to allow the dosage to integrate harmoniously.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C in a white wine glass or Champagne glass to allow the aromas to unfold. Decanting is not necessary, although gently pouring into a chilled carafe can be considered for a mature bottle if greater aromatic expression is desired. Its freshness and delicate fruit character pair beautifully with smoked salmon, shellfish, tuna tartare, roast poultry, soft cheeses and light fruit-based desserts.

Founded in Aÿ in 1584 by Pierre Gosset, a councillor and winegrower, Champagne Gosset is widely regarded as the oldest wine house in Champagne. The estate originally produced still red wines from its own vineyards before sparkling wine became established in the region during the 18th century. Today, Gosset is known for its prestigious cuvées, careful selection of highly classified vineyard sites and a distinctive approach that preserves freshness by avoiding malolactic fermentation. This cuvée honours Suzanne Gosset, an important figure in the house’s modern history.
