From one of Sonoma Coast’s most admired sites, it reflects both John Raytek’s precision and the pedigree of Occidental Vineyard, planted in 1990 by Paul Kistler with the Dutton family.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a beautiful, translucent ruby tone that hints at its elegance rather than sheer power. The nose is expressive and layered, with dark cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, red licorice, and roses unfolding alongside subtle savory tones. The palate is silky and beautifully balanced, offering concentrated fruit wrapped in notes of licorice, leather, smoke, spice, and a faint saline edge on the finish. Despite its youth, the wine already delivers impressive harmony and depth, and it has the structure and balance to evolve gracefully for at least 15 years.
