Tasting Notes
Bright ruby in the glass, with an expressive nose of baked cherries, raspberry, vanilla, clove, and a gentle hint of toasted oak. On the palate it is soft, round, and fruit-forward, with plush red berry flavors, subtle spice, and a discreet line of acidity that keeps everything nicely balanced. The finish is smooth and easy-drinking, making this a Pinot Noir that is enjoyable now for its pure, generous fruit and polished texture. It has the charm to be opened young, though it should also hold comfortably over the next few years.

Production
The grapes come from coastal California sites where warm sunshine is tempered by cooling Pacific winds, helping preserve freshness and aromatic lift in the Pinot Noir. Winemaker Charlie Wagner crafts the wine with a mix of new and used oak barrels, allowing the fruit to remain at the center while adding just a touch of spice and texture.

A versatile Pinot Noir that works beautifully with roast chicken, duck, grilled salmon, mushroom dishes, or pork tenderloin. Serve slightly chilled at around 14-16°C, and decanting is generally not necessary, though a short aeration can help the wine open up if served soon after opening.
