Tasting Notes
Marzemino is typically known for its vibrant ruby colour and expressive, fruit-forward profile, and this Trentino Superiore expression is expected to show elegant freshness alongside fine structure. The nose often leans toward red cherry, wild berries, violet, and subtle spice, with a clean, lifted aromatic profile that reflects the grape’s Alpine origin. On the palate, it is usually supple and medium-bodied, with juicy red fruit, gentle tannins, and a lively acidity that keeps the wine energetic and food-friendly. Production
The Maso Romani vineyard in Trentino Alto Adige is a historic site named after Attilio Romani, who acquired the estate and vineyards from Odoardo Seeber in the 19th century. Today the property is owned by the Romani Foundation and directly managed by CAVIT, which has been producing this historic cru for more than twenty years. Since 2003, the vineyard has been the subject of an extensive study aimed at evaluating and improving Marzemino cultivation and winemaking while protecting the complexity and biodiversity of this important historic parcel. The result is a wine rooted in careful vineyard stewardship and a strong sense of place.

Food & Serving
This Marzemino pairs beautifully with roasted poultry, grilled sausages, mushroom dishes, braised meats, and traditional North Italian cuisine such as polenta-based plates. Serve it at around 16–18°C; decanting is optional, but a short decant can help the wine open if enjoyed young.
