Cave La Romaine Ventoux Mr. Christophe 2024 is a fresh, aromatic white wine from the foothills of Mont Ventoux in Provence. Made, harvested and bottled in Vaison-la-Romaine, it combines vibrant citrus fruit with delicate floral notes in an elegant expression of the Ventoux appellation.

Tasting Notes
Bright and lively in appearance, the wine opens with an inviting nose of lemon, pink grapefruit and ripe apricot, subtly complemented by hints of white flowers. On the palate, it is fresh and fruit-driven, with crisp citrus character, a gentle floral lift and a clean, refreshing finish. This is a wine designed to be enjoyed for its youthful energy and aromatic clarity. It is best consumed within the first few years of the vintage, while its citrus and floral notes are at their most expressive.

Production
The wine is produced in Vaison-la-Romaine, at the foot of Mont Ventoux in Provence, where the Mediterranean setting contributes to its ripe fruit character and natural freshness. The grapes are carefully harvested and undergo temperature-controlled co-fermentation, followed by maturation on the lees, helping to preserve the wine’s aromatic intensity while adding poise and texture. It is produced and bottled at the estate in Vaison-la-Romaine.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C. Its lively freshness makes it a versatile partner for seafood, grilled fish, prawns, oysters, fresh goat’s cheese, salads and light Mediterranean dishes. Decanting is not necessary; simply open shortly before serving to allow the aromas to unfold.

The Mr. Christophe range is produced in collaboration with Edwige Bourchet, the dynamic director of Cave La Romaine, bringing a modern and focused approach to wines from the area.
