Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright, clear ruby-red colour. The nose is layered and spicy, with red currant, cherry and raspberry at the core, followed by black pepper, a hint of cinnamon blossom, and subtle herbal notes. On the palate, the wine is lively and focused, combining juicy fruit with fine, firm tannins and a fresh, balanced acidity. The structure is sleek and harmonious, while the oak influence stays discreet, adding depth rather than weight. The finish is medium-long, fruity, and lightly spiced, with enough structure to suggest several years of graceful ageing.

Buchholz is a steep single vineyard in Alto Adige, where altitude, cool temperatures, and well-exposed slopes help Pinot Noir develop clarity, tension, and aromatic finesse. The site’s alpine terroir is key to the wine’s fresh profile and elegant structure.
