Tasting Notes
In the glass, it pours a deep purple-red with an almost opaque core, hinting at the richness to come. The nose is intense and inviting, layered with ripe blackberries, black cherries, and cassis, followed by exotic spice, dark chocolate, moka, and a subtle touch of vanilla. The palate is full-bodied and velvety, with impressive concentration and ripe, rounded tannins. Dark fruit leads the way, supported by black pepper, coffee, and warming spices, while the wine remains harmonious and elegant despite its power. The finish is long, warm, and persistent, with lingering notes of dark fruit, cocoa, and spice. It has the structure to develop further with short-term cellaring, though it is also ready to enjoy now.
