Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep purple-red colour that hints at the wine’s power and ripeness. The nose is generous and layered, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and blueberry, alongside dark chocolate, warm spice and a touch of sweet oak. The palate is rich and rounded, with ripe dark fruit at the centre, supple tannins and a velvety texture. Oak ageing adds extra complexity and length, while the spicy finish keeps the wine lively and satisfying. It is drinking well now, but its concentration and structure suggest it will hold and develop over the next few years.
