Cascina Ghercina Moscato d’Asti 2025 is a fragrant, sweet and refreshing Piedmontese dessert wine made from aromatic Moscato grapes. The wine comes from the Sartirano family, whose winemaking history in Piedmont dates back to 1871.

Tasting Notes
Pale and delicately coloured in the glass, this Moscato offers an expressive nose of ripe Moscato grapes, acacia blossom and gentle honeyed notes. The palate is sweet yet fresh, with an aromatic, fruit-driven character and a clean, pleasant finish. Production
The grapes are sourced from the Sartirano family’s Novello estate in Piedmont, where a lake at the centre of the property contributes to a distinctive local microclimate. The Moscato grapes undergo gentle pressing followed by a cold maceration. Temperature-controlled maturation at approximately 0–4°C helps preserve the wine’s delicate aromas and refreshing character.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled as an aperitif, or pair it with cakes, fresh strawberries, ice cream and other light desserts. Its fragrant sweetness also makes it a lovely choice to finish a meal. Decanting is not necessary; simply chill to around 6–8°C and serve soon after opening.

The Sartirano family began producing wine in 1871, the year Rome became the capital of Italy. Over four generations, the family has remained committed to Piedmontese winemaking traditions, producing regional classics including Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Barolo. Cascina Ghercina takes its name from the lake located at the heart of the Novello estate, reflecting the family’s connection to its land and its focus on tradition, quality and continued development.
