Made from carefully selected grapes sourced from dedicated estate vineyards, it delivers the depth and precision associated with the producer’s Brunello wines while being ready to enjoy much earlier.

Tasting Notes
Bright ruby-red in appearance, the wine opens with a lively, fruit-driven bouquet marked by aromas of ripe cherries and other red berries. On the palate, it is elegant and balanced, with soft tannins, fresh fruit, and a refined structure that carries through to a long, persistent finish. The 2023 is enjoyable immediately, thanks to its supple texture and accessible style, but its structure and freshness also give it the potential to develop further in bottle over the coming years.

Production
The grapes come from dedicated Casanova di Neri vineyards in the Montalcino area, where they receive the same careful attention as those destined for Brunello. Sangiovese is selected by hand both before and after destemming, followed by spontaneous fermentation without added cultured yeast. Maceration and fermentation take place in an open, temperature-controlled, conical vessel, with fermentation lasting 18 days. The wine then matures in wood for a further 12–18 months before release.

Its bright cherry fruit and polished tannins make this Rosso a natural partner for pasta with tomato-based sauces, pizza, grilled meats, roasted poultry, and Tuscan-style dishes featuring herbs and olive oil. Serve lightly cool at approximately 16–18°C. Decanting is not essential for the 2023, although 20–30 minutes of gentle aeration can help reveal additional aromatic detail.
