Villa Trefiano comes from the Tuscan terroir surrounding Capezzana, where well-drained soils and a temperate climate help preserve freshness while allowing full ripeness. The grapes are vinified to highlight both fruit and structure, then the wine spends 24 months in French oak barrels followed by 12 months of bottle aging, allowing the components to integrate and develop complexity.

This wine is an excellent match for rich meat dishes, game, roasted lamb, and aged cheeses. Serve at around 16-18°C, and decant for about 30-60 minutes if possible to help the aromas open and the mature flavors unfold gracefully.
