Tasting Notes

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and harmonious, balancing elegant acidity with soft tannins and a complex, refined structure. The finish is long and satisfying, and while it is already showing beautifully, it still has the poise to develop further with careful cellaring for a few more years.

Produced in Tuscany, this wine comes from the historic Carmignano area, where Sangiovese is traditionally blended with international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes were harvested in 1990 and vinified with a focus on preserving concentration and balance, followed by 24 months in oak barrels and 12 months of bottle ageing to round out the wine’s texture and complexity.
