Tasting Notes
The wine has a pale straw-yellow colour with subtle green highlights. On the nose, it offers a fine and delicate bouquet with fresh, lightly fruity aromas. The palate is crisp and pleasantly tangy, showing clean fruit flavours and a refreshing finish that makes it especially enjoyable when served young. With its lively structure and uncomplicated freshness, È Arte Verdeca is best appreciated in its youth, when its aromatic brightness and vibrant acidity are at their most expressive.

Production
The grapes are grown in northern Puglia, in the Alta Murgia area at the foot of Castel del Monte, where the elevated, open landscape provides favourable conditions for fresh and aromatic white wines. Torrevento follows sustainable farming principles and focuses on the rediscovery and refinement of local varieties such as Verdeca. After gentle pressing, the must is fermented at a controlled temperature before the wine spends approximately four months refining in bottle.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C as an aperitif or alongside grilled fish, shellfish and other light seafood dishes. Its fresh acidity also makes it a natural match for salads, delicate pasta dishes and simply prepared Mediterranean cuisine. Decanting is not required; open shortly before serving to allow its delicate aromas to emerge.

The story of Cantine Torrevento began in the Torre del Vento area of northern Puglia, in the heart of the Alta Murgia National Park. Located near Castel del Monte, the estate has built its reputation on rustic, authentic winemaking and the preservation of Puglia’s indigenous grape varieties. Torrevento has held Equalitas certification for more than 20 years, reflecting its focus on environmental, ethical and economic sustainability. The winery also maintains a close connection with its local community through events, tastings, vineyard tours and cellar visits.
