Cantine di Ora Amicale 2021 is a full-bodied Veneto red shaped by the region’s celebrated appassimento tradition. Made from a characteristic blend of Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella, it combines concentrated dark-fruit character with a soft, creamy texture and subtle oak nuances.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-red in appearance, the wine offers an expressive aroma of black cherries and blackcurrants, complemented by hints of bay leaf and a gentle touch of oak. On the palate, it is richly fruity and rounded, with a velvety, creamy mouthfeel and a sensual, supple finish. The appassimento-inspired style gives the wine generous concentration while keeping it approachable. It is enjoyable now and should develop well over the next few years when stored in suitable conditions.

Production
The wine reflects Veneto’s tradition of using partially dried grapes to enhance concentration and intensity. Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella are dried in small crates for approximately 120 days before pressing, allowing the fruit to lose water and develop greater richness. Following vinification, the young wine is aged for several months in oak, contributing a discreet woody accent alongside its ripe fruit profile.

Food & Serving
Serve Cantine di Ora Amicale 2021 at around 16–18°C. Its full, soft character pairs well with grilled or roasted red meat, hearty pasta dishes, pizza with rich toppings, mature cheeses and slow-cooked stews. Decanting is not essential, but a short decant of 20–30 minutes can help open the wine’s fruit and soften its expression further.
