Cantina Sociale di Trento’s Trento Cuvée 601 Dosaggio Zero is a crisp, high-altitude sparkling wine that showcases the elegance and precision of Chardonnay grown in the mountains around Trento. Made in one of Italy’s most celebrated sparkling wine regions, it stands out for its purity, freshness, and zero-dosage style, which lets the fruit and mineral character speak clearly.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw in color with a fine, persistent mousse, this wine typically offers a bright and refined profile. Expect fresh aromas of citrus, green apple, white flowers, and subtle chalky minerality, with a clean, energetic palate and a dry, focused finish. The Dosaggio Zero style brings extra tension and transparency, emphasizing freshness over sweetness. Its mountain-grown Chardonnay gives the wine structure and finesse, and it should be enjoyed for its youthful vibrancy, though it can gain a little additional complexity with short-term bottle aging.

Production
The Chardonnay comes from hillside vineyards around Trento at an altitude of at least 600 meters, where the very good sun exposure and predominantly limestone soils help preserve acidity while building aromatic clarity. These cool, elevated conditions are ideal for producing sparkling wine with precision and lift. The wine is vinified using traditional sparkling-wine methods, with the Dosaggio Zero dosage highlighting the terroir-driven style and dry, mineral finish.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, ideally at 6–8°C, to preserve its freshness and fine mousse. It pairs beautifully with oysters, shellfish, sushi, light seafood dishes, antipasti, and delicate white meats; decanting is not necessary.
