Cantina di Solopaca’s Fiano Sannio 2024 showcases one of Campania’s oldest and most characteristic white-wine varieties. Fresh, aromatic and dry, it combines floral fruitiness with a distinctive herbal note, making it a versatile choice for lighter meals and aperitivo occasions.

Tasting Notes
The wine has a bright straw-yellow colour. On the nose, it offers inviting fruity and floral aromas, complemented by notes reminiscent of wild grass that add a fresh, Mediterranean character. On the palate, it is dry, balanced and pleasantly refreshing, with the aromatic profile carrying through cleanly. This is a wine best enjoyed in its youth, when its freshness and floral fruit character are at their most expressive.

Production
The Fiano grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the winery, where they are destemmed and gently pressed. The wine is produced using cryomaceration to preserve the grapes’ delicate aromas, followed by fermentation in stainless-steel tanks for approximately 15 days at a controlled temperature. It is bottled in March, allowing its fresh and vibrant style to remain at the forefront.

Food & Serving
Serve chilled at approximately 8–10°C. This Fiano pairs well with appetisers, fish-based starters, light meats and pasta dishes, particularly those prepared with delicate sauces or fresh herbs. Decanting is not necessary; simply open shortly before serving to let the aromas develop in the glass.
