Cantina Andriano Pinot Noir is a refined expression of Alto Adige, showing the finesse and mountain freshness that make this region so distinctive. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, it combines elegance, structure, and a sense of place, with the added appeal of a historic estate rooted in one of Italy’s most respected cool-climate areas.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright ruby-red color with the graceful transparency typical of well-made Pinot Noir. The nose opens with notes of blackcurrant and blackberry, supported by subtle savory and floral nuances that add complexity. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, harmonious, and polished, with a fine balance between ripe fruit, freshness, and gentle tannins. The finish is long and refined, making it enjoyable now while still having the potential to develop further complexity over the next few years.

Production
The grapes come from vineyards at around 500 meters above sea level, where Alto Adige’s cool climate and elevated sites help preserve freshness, aromatic precision, and elegance. Vinification follows a traditional red-wine approach in stainless steel tanks at temperatures up to 30°C, with gentle pump-overs to extract color and finesse. The wine then matures in large barrels, where malolactic fermentation and aging help soften the structure and build depth.

Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir is an excellent match for roasted meats, game birds, mushroom dishes, and a selection of medium-aged cheeses. Serve it slightly cool, ideally around 16–18°C, and decanting is optional but can help reveal its aromatic layers if opened young.
